{back in sacto}

catalina was really pretty. we saw buffalo's , stingray's, and tons of garibaldi. i was sea sickfrom the ferry ride almost the whole time! on the beach- victor kept the margarita's on a constant flow. just thought i was dizzy anyways. i did get pretty messed up one night and the boys {dru 14 and noah 12} swore the next morning that i told them they should take off and find some cute girls to play spin the bottle with at the beach! i might have???

so we finally took the plunge and bought our tent! it's  this one except it has baby blue trim. i think catalina got us in a lounge mood. and believe me when your traveling with pubescent teenagers......you need a space like this!

{taking off}

well were off to catalina island. i'm terrified of planes and ferries......and to think of our whole family on them at once...oy!  since we are with the kids i cannot have a few cocktails to clam down. but it's not a long flight from sactown to l.a.

{orla kiely love}

how i love this mod coat!
love this whole outfit. orla kiely is the only designer  for me. except i bought some chloe mimosa's cream glasses, which goes against my beliefs. {i can't stand big designer glasses + big designer bags} BUT to me i think orla kiely and chloe are different. i might have to break down and get another orla bag, maybe this one in green?

{film}

i kinda felt like gilbert this weekend. my husband hurt his back so i had to hold down the fort. btw this is one of my favorite movies.
this is my number one on the list. i love the music + all the colorful scenes.
we saw wall-e over the weekend. it was pretty cute. kinda reminded me maybe of a child's philip k dick film {kinda} can't wait to read "nick and the glamong" by philip k dick to remy. not a lot of people are aware that he wrote a children's book.
we have to finish the whole roald dahl books first. what we've got left to read:
the witches | the wonderful story of henry sugar | fantastic mr fox | and boy
