{ weekend madness }

we had a ton of fun this weekend. saw these nice boys from seattle. the globes.

went to the andy warhol exhibit at the  crocker art with the kids. i was kidding around with remy and i told him "oh wow look any missed a spot" and remy said "oh you mean right here" pointing and actually touching this painting of the soccer player. he said he didn't ever want to wash his hand. 
still freaking painting the room, red + brown  is hell to cover!

{ joanna newsom }

the first time i heard joanna sing was on a golden shoulders c.d that adam had  sent to victor's indie lable { doppler records...now gone } i saw her play once at kevin + allison seconds cafe-true love coffee house. i was so supper pregnant with remy....and he was kicking like mad. he apparently loved it just as much as i did. she is sooooo beautiful!

{ anniversary shows}

our 5th year anniversary is coming up! we sometimes like to go see a favorite band. our first year we flew to seattle for the symphony and wondered to into a record shop one day and rilo kiley was playing a show.........how great of a trip!

 

last year?? it was mates of state in san francisco.....when we first met this was "our cd" not sure what were going to do this year......maybe just get the kids out of the house and make our own music.

we picked up our raj tent last night. i'll post photos after we actually have a chance to set it up.

{my weekend}

sometimes after a wedding i'll treat my tired hands and feet to a mani-pedi. but this saturday was THE BEST!  victor, remy and i headed for lake clemetine in auburn.  i jumped in the lake in my pleated skirt and all! we swam for awhile. buy the time we hiked back to the van we were dry! i know kinda crazy, but it was so much fun! if only all wedding set ups could end this way.  i'll post photos from the wedding soon.

i have a wedding in october {on remy's bday} and the lucky bride has THIS dress by monique Lhuillier! she is super,super sweet and deserves every bit of it's luscious lace. the wedding flowers are all black magic roses.

we finally got a anthropologie in sacramento! it's way out in the suburbs though. i usually don't like to leave downtown, but this is an exception. here are my favorites.

i have a wedding coming up in a few weeks and i'm sooooo excited about this one. she rented my vintage milk glass urns. they will be filled with sage hydrangea, creamy dahlias, champagne roses and jasmine vines.
