then watched badlands.... i loved all of sissy's dresses

i've been wanting this classic trench from BOY band of outsiders for a while now......it has been on sale at opening ceremony....and now it's gone! should have jumped on it.

i'm so flipping busy  lately . so busy in fact that i haven't been able to buy fresh new batteries for my camera to take pics of the floral deliveries for the week.....so you'll just have to believe me when i say that they were so-so pretty.

i didn't ride my bike to work today.....so i kinda feel like this.

{on the remodeling road again }

over the weekend there was excitement in the house as my husband begun ripping out the old shower in the upstairs bathroom. 

not sure if i ever mentioned our 100 year old high water craftsmen we have been restoring...... on a small budget, plus doing most of the work ourselves. 

^ this is a look at my girly girl bathroom  the boys have to share with us while we tear out the upstairs bathroom.

 boys forced to bathe in a claw foot tub?..... oh the torture!

i'm planning on keeping the old hot and cold sink and just replacing the taps....and using all brass fixtures.

 wanting it to be like a  gentleman's lair.....dark wood, blacks, greys....complete opposite of the bath upstairs.

wanting a  straight black paint {on one wall}  or a dapper pin stripped wallpaper

we have wood flooring that i plan on sanding down and then staining.

anyone know of a good marble company in sacramento? i need to get a quote for the shower.

i love the history of these traditional marriage domes from the 19th century. they were given to the young french couple 

and kept in the home as symbols of the years to come.

i can see it transformed into a wedding tableau... of blue damask linens,  marble urns filled with pale pink , and  cream english garden roses, plus diptyque candles.

{ first month }

tomorrow marks  our full month of our shop being open....not only do i enjoy making bouquets for my customers , i truly enjoy them stopping in for a chat + their welcoming me to the neighborhood. it really makes my day!
