good news: i got a new bike! it's a univega-nothing special just what i wanted

bad news: victor and i have been watching the series twin peaks {a show i was never able to watch as a kid} he told me we are on episode 9 of 30! what 30? i love david lynch.....but i'm not sure if i'm ready for such a commitment! so i kinda messed up and googled the ending! victor's upset with me..........i'm that kind of bad girl who (still) unwraps my xmas gifts.

don't you love the opening music? my older brothers would only let me watch the into....i would always say that i wanted them to play that song at my funeral.

a couple of weeks ago

victor and i left the house with a map, sunflower seeds, gator aid , camping gear , money and absolutely no plan at all......we just started driving.

ended up in a national forest along a creek.....we were lucky enough to have seen a bobcat!

those two days were just INCREDIBLE!

problem with little getaways is when you get home, the reality sometimes is sorta overwhelming of having four kids, a house, dog and jobs.

big thanks to my brother for holding down the fort for us.
